Viedoc update notes 4.30
Viedoc™ update 4.30
The latest Viedoc™ release notes for version 4.30 are now available and you can access Viedoc 4.30 from the production servers as of 17th November 2016. The EDC system’s new functions include the ability to add important information to data exports. This information includes ‘Initiated by’, ‘Initiated date’, ‘Last edited by’ and ‘Last edited date’ details. These records can be valuable for data monitoring and risk-based quality management. For example, data monitors can check when data were entered in order to calculate time lags between a certain site visit and the data entry for that visit. It is also possible to find out when a particular form, such as a randomisation form, was saved for the first time. We are aware that this is a feature that many Viedoc users are keen to use.
The update also includes a new ‘Dictionary manager’ system role so that the dictionary manager can upload the dictionaries used for medical coding. For further details and bug fixes, please see the full release notes. Contact us to find out more about the Viedoc EDC system or to discuss our Viedoc training services.
